It is highly recommended to create an account for each operator that is going to use SPORTRICK.
When a SPORTRICK environment is activated for the first time, the first account to be created will be the administrator's.
The administrator can then create credentials for all the other users.
For the creation of an account, please refer to the manual about User Management
Every operator will have the possibility to change their password any time, as shown in the pictures below:
2. User Rights
Every account is assigned to a team with specific user rights, which determin what the user can and cannot do with SPORTRICK.
From the VAR portal it is possible to select which of customers' profile are to be visible and which are to be hidden to specific groups of SPORTRICK's users. (Managed Environments -> View More -> Configurations -> Teams -> Team Permissions).
3. How to Freeze an Account
The administrator can freeze any other operator's account at any time.
All the administrator has to do is reset the user's password so that they won't be able to log into the system.
The path is: Settings -> User Management -> Detail (next to the user's name) -> Reset Password.
4. How to Track Users' Login
The system keeps track of all the times a user logs into SPORTRICK. Each operator can find out the last time they have logged into the system from SPORTRICK's Home Page.
5. Password Requirements
It is possible to define the rules for the creation of users' passwords.
In the VAR portal it is possible to define the password complexity (Managed Environments -> View More -> Configurations -> Settings -> type the code 10143 in the search field). The available parameters are:
- minimum length of the password
- maximum length of the password
- use of upper case
- use of lower case
- use of alphanumeric characters
- use of special characters
The default password rules are:
If you type the code 10144 in the search field, you can insert a brief text to inform operators about password requirements.
Passwords must be changed at regular intervals.
SPORTRICK's passwords last for 180 days. Users are reminded to change their password two weeks before it expires.
To define a different deadline for the expiry of the password, you can access the VAR portal and click on Managed Environments -> View More -> Configurations -> Settings -> type the code 10141 in the search field.
To customise the password-expiry alert, type the code 10142 in the search field.
6. Session Expiry
It is possible to define for how long a user can work with SPORTRICK before being automatically logged out and having to logi in once again. Please access the VAR portal and click on Managed Environments -> View More -> Configurations -> Settings -> type the code 10035 in the search field and specify for how many minutes the operator can carry on working before being automatically logged out.
